Pure. Shampoo Bar – unscented
Pure. Shampoo Bar is a handcrafted conditioning shampoo bar without any perfume or additives, perfect for moms to be, babies and toddlers, people with sensitive skin or those who like unscented body care products.
To promote healthy hair and scalps, PURE shampoo bars are specially formulated with premium plant-based oils such as avocado oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, macadamia nut oil, and argan oil. You will love the rich creamy lather and mild cleanse that won't strip off your natural oils. Pure and simple characteristics of this bar will leave nothing but soft, shiny, clean, healthy hair. This premium shampoo bar is also great as a gentle face and body bar, suitable for sensitive, dry, normal or oily skin types.
How to use: Wet your hair and massage the wet bar against your hair in a circular motion to create a rich lather. Work the lather into your scalp and rinse. Be sure to work up a good lather and rinse thoroughly. Can be used on the face and body as well, so spread the foam and wash from head to toe.
Handmade soap-based shampoo bars work best with soft water and for shorter hair. Please expect a few weeks of adjustment period while your hair to get rid of the chemical build-ups from liquid shampoo and conditioner.
It weighs approximately 3.3 oz/92 g and is sized at 3" diameter and is 1" thick. Each bar is minimally wrapped in a paper label.
Handcrafted shampoo bars are high in glycerin. Glycerin attracts water (hence its moisturizing effect) therefore our shampoo bars should not be left sitting in water, as it will cause them to melt. To extend the life of your shampoo bar, please use a well-draining soap dish to ensure it dries completely after each use.
Homemade conditioner: When you switch from regular liquid shampoo to our solid shampoo bar, for the first week or so you may find using the shampoo bar leaves hair dry or frizzy. Everyone's hair is different and some people may experience that. If that's the case you may want to try using an "apple cider vinegar conditioner" which you can make in your kitchen. In a spray bottle put 1/2 cup water and 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar. After shampooing and finishing taking shower, towel dry your hair and spray the cider conditioner and massage into the hair using fingers from roots to the ends. Leave it and let it dry. This should make your hair manageable and the vinegar smell will go away as it dries. (Alternatively, you can pour the conditioner over your hair in the shower, massage, then rinse as you would normally do, if you prefer. You may want to add more water in the bottle depending on the length of the hair.) After a week or so you should not need to use the conditioner.
