Meadow Shampoo Bar is a handcrafted soap-based shampoo bar made for a gentle, easy cleanse.
Originally created as a softer, lavender-forward alternative to our Bayside shampoo bar, Meadow has been thoughtfully reformulated with first-time shampoo bar users in mind. It was designed to lather easily, rinse more cleanly, and feel gentle on the scalp — all while staying true to the simple, plant-based approach behind every bar we make.
This updated version is made with camellia seed oil, a long-loved ingredient in East Asian hair and skincare traditions, along with avocado oil, shea butter, and argan oil to create a creamy lather and a smoother, more comfortable wash. The addition of cationic guar gum helps improve softness and manageability, while sodium lactate adds slip for an easier rinse.
The result is a rich, velvety lather, a cleaner rinse, and a shampoo bar that feels calm, gentle, and easy to use.
SCENT
Softly floral and green, with a calm lavender heart, a gentle citrus lift, and warm earthy depth. Lightly scented with essential oils of lavender, orange, ylang ylang, rosemary, and patchouli.
HOW TO USE
Wet your hair and rub the bar directly onto the scalp or between your hands to build lather. Massage into the scalp, work through the hair, and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed. Can also be used as a gentle face and body bar.
Because every scalp and hair type is different, your experience may vary. As with any haircare product, results are personal and it may take a little time to find what works best for your hair.
Soap-based shampoo bars generally perform best in soft water. If you’re new to shampoo bars, your hair may need a short adjustment period as it adapts to a simpler routine.

TIPS
To extend the life of your soap, please use a well-draining soap dish to ensure your soap dries completely after each use. Handcrafted soaps are high in glycerin. Glycerin attracts water (hence its moisturizing effect) therefore our soaps should not be left sitting in water, as it will cause them to melt.
