Bayside Shampoo Bar is a handcrafted conditioning soap-based shampoo bar with mineral-rich kelp essence and French pink clay to clean the hair and the scalp while giving the nutrients boost. Loads of raw honey helps to brighten up the shine. Premium plant-based oils such as avocado oil, shea butter, and argan oil will nourish and condition the scalp. It has a lighter texture than our other shampoo bars. It will leave your hair soft, shiny, and healthy. Lightly scented with natural essential oils.

SCENT
The scent is similar to our popular Riverside soap which has a lovely modern herbal floral note. A calming nature-inspired blend of Lavender, lemon, clary sage, and patchouli. 

HOW TO USE
Wet your hair and rub the bar directly onto the scalp or between your hands to build lather. Massage into the scalp, work through the hair, and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed. Can also be used as a gentle face and body bar.

Because every scalp and hair type is different, your experience may vary. As with any haircare product, results are personal and it may take a little time to find what works best for your hair.

Soap-based shampoo bars generally perform best in soft water. If you’re new to shampoo bars, your hair may need a short adjustment period as it adapts to a simpler routine.

INGREDIENTS
Distilled water, olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic shea butter, sodium hydroxide (used for saponification process and none remain in the final product), avocado oil, castor seed oil, essential oils of lavender, lemon, clary sage, and patchouli; Canadian unpasteurized honey, organic argan oil, French grey sea salt, French pink clay, citric acid, panthenol, kelp powder, activated charcoal powder, rosemary oleoresin extract (antioxidant)

TIPS
To extend the life of your soap, please use a well-draining soap dish to ensure your soap dries completely after each use. Handcrafted soaps are high in glycerin. Glycerin attracts water (hence its moisturizing effect) therefore our soaps should not be left sitting in water, as it will cause them to melt.
